At a cost of £120,00 is somewhat more of an affordable price for most aspiring motor enthusiasts.
The R8’s angular shape lacks appeal for some, but it more than makes up for it by driving at a mind blowing speed. The R8’s most powerful V10 engine version can cover speeds of up to 205mph. It has double-wishbone aluminium suspension, four wheel drive, and electronic rear wheel control. Its been made to be a precision car for the road that can get going quicker than almost any other with the plus model boasting 602bhp.

7. PAGANI ZONDA
The Pagani Zonda C12 debuted in 1999 at the Geneva Motor Show. Zondas come in all shapes and sizes and the car can reach speeds up to 198mph. Perhaps one of the cars outstanding features is its relative scarcity, especially variation in models.
The Zonda R, for example, was limited to 40 production cars between the its debut in Geneva in 2007 and 2011. The important reason for the allure of the R model is that its almost entirely new and only shares 10% of the Zonda F’s components. Pagani’s are like the unicorns of the supercar world - so if you see one, stop in awe at the sight of a motoring legend.
6. PORSCHE 911

5. KOENIGSEGG
In 90’s Sweden, Christian Koenigsegg started Koenigsegg with the aim to create the fastest and most precise supercars in the world.

The advanced Koenigsegg model, The One: introduced in 2014, is known as The Mega Car as it has one megawatt of power, and was the first car in the world to do so.
It boasts a 5.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine, and the rear wing is electronically adjustable with auto setting or manual control. There is even an interior lighting system, which uses a series of carbon tubes to shine through the car’s interior interface buttons.

4. MCLAREN F1
McLaren’s F1 has been lauded by the motoring community since its inception in 1992. A three-seater with butterfly doors, its unique look and elegant, luxurious style has always been in supercar collectors' bucket lists.
However, its style is not the only reason the F1 is so highly revered, its fast, very fast. The Competizione boasts a 4.7-litre V8 engine, which is manufactured by Ferrari, and gives it that extra bit of muscle and speed under the hood that allows the car to reach speeds of 181mph. It's the only car on this list to win not just one, but multiple best sounding car awards.
1. FERRARI F40
In 1987, the Ferrari F40 was released to the world at large and we all went crazy for it.
Not only was the F40 the last model to ever be officially signed off by legendary owner, Enzo, it was made to celebrate Ferrari’s 40th anniversary. At that point it was the most fast and expensive car they had ever sold. So it’s no surprise that this turbocharged super machine has held its place as the quintessentially iconic supercar.
It possesses a timelessly beautiful athletic and lightweight body, adorned with unique aerodynamic curves that have ensured its major appeal by motorists. The F40’s popularity is not purely down to its clear and stunning design; it also boasts a twin-turbo 2.9-litre V8 engine that reaches speeds of up to 200mph.
